BUSINESS SUPPORT

After serving 20 years in the RNZAF as an Avionic Technician, John joined Tom Cook at T V Cook Insurances in 1993, which was later to become Affiliated Insurance Brokers. Working around aircraft gave John a good perspective on risk assessment, but with changes in the FMA requirements and after selling the business, John was encouraged to stay on in a business support role and has enjoyed seeing the expansion of Affiliated and being a part of the new team.

Brought up in the Wairarapa and later joining the Air Force, John was always a keen sportsman, but nowadays that involves cycling and John is a member of the Ulysses Club, NZ Distance Riders and enjoys making glass light catchers as a hobby.
